The Deep Politics Bookstore is dedicated to bringing the best information available regarding the Deep Politics of the American milieu to as broad an audience as possible. Dr. Stern initiated this project on a shoestring budget with no staff. He still has a shoestring budget and no staff. The goal of this organization is to continue to deliver quality material while being self-sufficient financially. Rather than posting only free stuff and asking for donations, we are providing an opportunity to purchase important works not readily available elsewhere.
It is hoped that this site will become a nidus for activism, as well. We have no "left" or "right" political agenda. Our only agenda is the restoration of democracy, and the control of criminal activity in government.
David H. Stern, M.D. is a Family Practice Physician in Torrance, California. His office number is (310) 782-3300. Office hours (for now) are 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Most medical plans are accepted. If you live in the area, but have no insurance, a pre-paid plan for outpatient care is available. In addition to Family Practice, Dr. Stern has a special interest in Preventive Medicine, including Metabolic Conditioning and Weight Control.
There is an Industrial Medicine Clinic and a Travel Medicine Clinic [both at (310) 782-3333] on site, which Dr. Stern also staffs. The industrial clinic is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Dr. Stern attended the university of Nebraska-Lincoln
as an undergraduate, where he earned a bachelor's
degree in Life Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and
English. He then attended the University of Nebraska
College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, where he
graduated in 1986. His residency training in Family
Practice was completed at U.C.L.A. in 1989, and he
worked at various urgent care clinics in the Greater Los
Angeles area from 1988 to 1993. For the last two years,
he has been at Western Medical Group, where he anticipates spending the rest of his
career.
Always politically engaged, David was a delegate to the Nebraska State Republican
Convention at the age of 18. (He is now a registered independent.) Due to the time
constraints of his schooling, there has been a long hiatus in his political activity. He is
now active in several non-partisan organizations that relate to the subject matter of this
Web Site.
